Obituary of Michael Chance Williams

Michael Chance Williams, 67, died Sunday, October 11 at God's Friendly Helpers Home Care in Lake Havasu City. Born July 21, 1948 in Walnut Park, CA, to Edwin and Marjorie Williams, he was a long time resident of the island of Kauai, Hawaii before returning to Lake Havasu City in 2008. He graduated from Huntington Park High School in 1966 and served in the Navy Reserve before settling in Hawaii. An avid surfer, and one time restaurant owner, he enjoyed the Hawaiian culture and spending time with friends and family. He never married, and is survived by his brother, Edwin Williams Jr.; cousin, Carolyn Coe; and nephews, Edwin Williams V and Cary Williams. A memorial service will be held on the island of Kauai, Hawaii on a future date. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
