Obituary of Martin HILL

Martin Charles Hill passed away on July 25, 2008 at his residence in Lake Havasu City at the age of 88. He was born on February 10, 1920 in Anadarko, OK to Arthur and Anna (Skipworth) Hill.Martin proudly served his country for almost 24 years in the United States Air Force, retiring in May of 1964. Martin then went to work for the City of Riverside, CA, working in the parks department. He moved to Lake Havasu from Riverside in 1970. Martin enjoyed traveling in his fifth wheel trailer, but most of all he loved to play golf.Martin is survived by is daughter, Sharon Huffman of Yucaipa, CA; sons, Martin Hill Jr. of San Bernardino, CA and John Hill of Wrightwood, CA; sisters, Jo Ann Miller of Oklahoma and Betty Ann Robinson of Garden Grove, CA, as well as ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.Graveside service will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 9:00 AMThoughts and condolences can be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
