Obituary of Gayle BALLANTYNE

Gayle Francis Ballantyne, 83, passed away on August 29, 2008 in Elk Grove, CA. She was born on March 29, 1925 in Sioux Falls, SD; to Rollin F. and Elizabeth A. (Wilde) Werle. Gayle moved to Lake Havasu City, Az; 20 years ago from Anaheim, CA. She worked as a hairdresser in Yorba Linda, CA; for 25 years. Gayle is survived by her sons, Rick Phillips of Anaheim, CA; Michael Pickett and wife Carol of Sacramento, CA; brother Alan Jerome Werle and wife Betty of Minnesota; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Leroy Ballantyne.Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Friday, September 5, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Words of wisdom and inspiration will be presented by Rev. Richard Rounds.
