William Henry Quier Jr. passed away August 30, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 75. He was born to William and Rosetta (Lower) Quier on October 27, 1932 in Compton, CA.William served under the direction of the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married his beloved bride Mavis Gjerde and together they made Lake Havasu their home six years ago from Gardena, CA. He worked for Realtec Corporation in Glendale, CA as an operating engineer for 15 years. William was a member of the Elks Lodge #2399. He loved road trips, traveling, being with his family, golfing, boating, fishing and camping. He had an infectious smile, a zest for life and was very fun-loving.William leaves behind his loving wife, Mavis "Micki" Quier of Lake Havasu; daughters, Christina (Brian) Chenze of Placentia, CA and Debra (Raymond) Howe of Lakewood, CA; brothers, Ernest Quier of Prairie, ID and John (Virginia) Quier of Fallbrook, CA; sisters, Edith Barkalow of Ashfork, AZ and Pauline (Billy) Weaver of Burden, KS and two grandsons, Austin and Brandon Chenze."Your love will remain with us in the whisper of the wind and the rain that falls from Heaven.
