Robert Alfred Sarver passed away September 3, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 77. He was born to Grant and Hilma (Swa) Sarver on April 15, 1931 in Cleveland, OH.Robert married his best friend, Beverly Maurer on May 15, 1975 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 11 years ago from Pasadena, TX. He was an electrician most of his life and for 20 years he was employed by Goodyear Chemical Co. in Houston, TX. Robert was a very intelligent man with a great sense of humor and most importantly, he was a wonderful father. He liked fishing, gambling, telling jokes and he loved his beer.He leaves behind his beloved wife of 33 years, Beverly Sarver of Lake Havasu; sons, Mark Berry of Pasadena, TX and Thomas Berry of Humble, TX; daughters, Carol Phillips of Lake City, TN and Sandra Ratajack of Spring, TX; mother-in-law, Dorothy Maurer of Lake Havasu; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2008, 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a Rosary to be said at 7:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. A funeral mass will be at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 11:00 am. Father Chauncey Winkler will officiate.
