Hal R. Baker passed away September 18, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 86. He was born to Hallie and Alice (Ball) Baker on October 31, 1921 in Los Angeles, CA.On October 30, 1948, Hal married his best friend, Geraldine "Jane" Norman and together they made Lake Havasu their home 12 years ago from San Gabriel, CA. He served under the direction of the United States Air Force during World War II as a crew chief working on B-17 bombers. Prior to working as a salesman for Sam Solitaire and Associates in LA for 30 years, Hal worked for Western Auto Supply as a buyer in California. He belonged to the Train Club in Lake Havasu. Hal is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Jane Baker of Lake Havasu; sons, Hal R. Baker III of California and Jay Baker of Michigan; daughter, Janice Baker of California and six grandchildren, Christine, Lauren, Jennifer, Monica, Jeff and Janelle.
