Phil J. Kapplan, 70, passed away suddenly at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ on Sunday, October 12, 2008. He was born February 5, 1938 to Thomas and Alice Kappler. Phil married Jolene McCray and together they had one daughter, Sydney. He was a loving father and devoted friend to many. He loved fishing, boating and golf. He was a very successful real estate developer and businessman.Phil was preceded in death by both parents and wife, Jolene. He is survived by his daughter, Sydney Barrett; sister, Patsy McNulty; four nieces; one nephew and many great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister, Katherine Botts."Your memory will always live in our hearts. We love you, Dad (Kap)".A memorial mass will be held Friday, October 17, 2008, 1:30 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
