Obituary of Thomas McKENDRICK

Thomas William "Bill" McKendrick passed away October 12, 2008 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 75. He was born on June 12, 1933 to Thomas and Margaret (Carls) McKendrick in Pomona, CA.Bill served under the direction of the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He married his beloved bride Joan Laird 55 years ago and together they moved to Arizona 17 years ago from Montclair, CA, making Lake Havasu their home 7 years ago. He worked for I.B.E.W. Local #11 as an electrician in Los Angeles, CA for 40 years. Bill was a member of the Elks in Bullhead and Lake Havasu, American Legion in Lake Havasu and Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Lake Havasu.Bill is survived by his loving wife, Joan McKendrick of Lake Havasu; son, Dave (Leslie) McKendrick of Alta Loma, CA; daughter, Jill (Kevin) Ward of Lake Havasu; grandchildren, Jason (Brianna) Ward of Maricopa, AZ, Jennifer (Luke) McKendrick of Alta Loma, CA, Kari (Chance) Ward of Lake Havasu and Tom (Amber) McKendrick of Alta Loma, CA and great grandchildren, Alexis and Jayden of Alta Loma, CA.A celebration of life will be held at Jill's house on Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 3:00 PM.
