RUTH FORD PETERSONRuth Ford Peterson, 87, passed away on November 25, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on April 23, 1921 in South Hadley, Massachusetts to Edward and Ruth (Munn) Ford.Ruth was a cryptographer for the U. S. Government before moving to Lake Havasu City 30 years ago from Silver Spring Maryland. She is member of the Elkettes, Golf-Happy Niners, Phoenix Society N.S.A. Retiree Group and enjoyed playing bridge. She has traveled to 60 countries and enjoyed cruising with her husband Herrick.Ruth is survived by her loving husband Herrick R. Peterson of Lake Havasu City; son Robert Peterson of Astoria, Oregon; brother Edward Ford of Silver Springs, Maryland and 2 grandchildren.Memorial services will be held on Friday December 5, 2008 at 2 PM at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Rev. Richard Rounds officiating.
