Obituary of Margaret HANKS

Margaret Ann Hanks passed away on December 8, 2008 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 83. Margaret was born on May 5, 1925 in Wendell, ID to Oscar and Mae (Lowe) Nelson.Margaret worked for Pacific Telesis for 28 years in Reno, NV, retiring as a supervisor. Among Margaret's hobbies, she enjoyed exploring the mountains and back roads in Reno and the desert in Lake Havasu City with her husband in their dune buggy.Margaret and her husband John moved to Lake Havasu City from Baldwin Park, CA in 1987. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Hanks; sons, Bob (Katie) Martin and John T. (Barbara) Hanks III, all of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Janice (Bob) Davis of Baltimore, MD and Pamela (Kurt) Toh of Reiner, VA; sister, Vivian Duke of Boise, ID; niece, Julie Hickman, also of Boise and four grandchildren.Margaret's wishes were to have no services; however donations may be made in Margaret's name to the Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com
