Ruth Elaine Wernette, 82, passed away on December 21, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on December 30, 1925 in Flint, MI; to Frank L. and Stella (Thiese) Kelly.Ruth moved to Arizona 9 years ago from Davison, IL; and has lived in Lake Havasu City, AZ; for the past 30 years. She was a wonderful homemaker and was a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary.Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 59 ½ years, George Wernette.A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Ashibuogwu officiating.Condolences and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
