Obituary of Wayne ELKINS

Wayne Conrad Elkins passed away on January 14, 2009 in Tucson, AZ; at the age of 78. He was born on August 6, 1930 in Cass County, IN; to Marion and Vernie (Anderson) Elkins. Wayne and his wife Ann moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; from Galveston, IN; in 1981. He worked for the City of Lake Havasu as a driver in the street department, where he made many friends. Wayne worked for the City for 15 years and upon his wife's retirement from the hospital in 1999, they moved to Tucson, AZ.Wayne is survived by his daughter; Melody Brooks and her husband Don of Tucson, AZ; son, Lee Elkins and his wife Pat of Texas; brother, Bob Elkins of Fort Worth, TX; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
