I am so thankful to have found a special site of Matt s. Though I read a brief account of his sudden ending, I don't want nor care to know of any details. I knew matt(and Mike) as great young men as LL players and JRH baseball). I am proud to have know him as his coach from his age of 10-12; especially traveling to Kingman as his AllStar manager. But mostly and finally, I thank him for being a friend at such a young age as he was then. he taught me how to laugh and the art of" joking around" and not to be serious all the time! I may have "favored" him ans Matt as my own two other sons, Matt always earned his playing times with me. I knew him as good young boy, and im confident he and I learned from each. Somewhere, in the heavens, Matt is still hitting line-drives. I was and Am honored to have know Matt.
