Obituary of Gary DAHLBERG

GARY MARK DAHLBERGGary Mark Dahlberg passed away at his home in Lake Havasu City on Thursday January 15 at the age of 51. Gary was born on February 13, 1957 in Granada Hills, California to William and Lurline (Barnhart) Dahlberg.Gary grew up in Thousand Oaks, California with his parents and his three sisters and two brothers. Gary met his wife Kelly in Thousand Oaks, Ca. and were married on February 18, 1989. They moved to Las Vegas, NV. where their daughter Heather was born. They lived in Las Vegas for 10 years then moved to Gardenerville, NV for 2 ½ years before moving to Lake Havasu City 7 ½ years ago.Gary has been a hard working, self employed man for the last 10 years in the medical supplies business.Gary and Kelly loved to go bowling and were very active in the leagues. They considered the bowling alley their home away from home where they met so many good people who they considered family. Gary also loved his Dallas Cowboys Football Team and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing pool, playing air guitar and doing his silly dances in his "tighty-whiteys".Gary's family, children, grandkids and friends were his greatest achievements. He was a big man with even bigger heart. He was the rock of the family, the go to guy and would do anything and everything for his family.Kelly and Gary's children would like to dedicate a few lines from the Beatles song "In My Life" "There are places I'll remember, all my life, though some have changed. Some forever, not for better. Some have gone and some remain. All these places have their moments, with lovers and friends I still can recall. Some are dead and some are living. In my life, I've loved them all."They would also like to sum up the life of Gary with these 3 words "Larger than Life" and send this message to Gary "You may be gone, but you will never, ever be forgotten. You will always live on in all of our hearts.Gary is survived by his wife of 19 years, Kelly Dahlberg of Lake Havasu City; son Dwayne Dahlberg of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Janna Dahlberg of Henderson, NV. and Heather Anderton and her husband Paul of Lake Havasu City; Granddaughters Devyn Dahlberg and Ezra Anderton; sisters Pam, Patti and Carol and brothers Bill and Wade and their families and his ex-wife Jean Dahlberg of Henderson, NV. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Lurline.All Gary's friends are invited to join the family to a celebration of Gary's life on Sunday January 25 at 2:00 pm at Havasu Lanes.
