Obituary of Imogene WAUGHTEL

Imogene "Jean" Waughtel, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all, passed away on Valentines Day, February 14, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born to Melvin and Veda Mae (Pickett) Hudson on July 4, 1926 in Sapulpa, OK.Jean will be remembered for her generosity, unconditional love of family and friends, strength of character and mostly for her sweet and caring soul. She had a close and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, beginning each day in His holy word. She was in constant prayer for all her friends and family and cherished her church family and Sunday school class.Jean was the proud owner of "Jeans Tape Center" (a music and electronics store) in Bellflower, CA for 13 years. She made Lake Havasu her home in 1995.Jean is survived by her three daughters, Linda, Patti and Nita and her eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was the glue that held her family together and the flame we warmed our souls by, and for that we will all be forever grateful. She will be missed and will forever be our sweet angel.Memorial services will be held at First Southern Baptist church on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM.
