Obituary of Maria GUZMAN

Maria Luisa Guzman passed away February 27, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 54. She was born to Moises and Maria de Jesus (Godinez) Guzman on August 19, 1954 in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico.Maria worked the farm fields in Calexico, CA for the Union Workers of Cesar Chavez for 15 years. She moved to Lake Havasu 15 years ago from Mexicali. Maria was a terrific mom, wife, sister, grandma and great grandma with a great heart. Maria was always willing to help anybody who needed it. She will always be in our heart and we will all miss her.Maria leaves behind her beloved husband, Jose Luis Escalante; daughter, Ofmara Gonzalez of Lake Havasu City, AZ; brother, Moises Guzman Jr. of Parker, AZ; sisters, Veronica Espino, Rosaura Garcia, Natalia Monroy and Maria Medina, all of Lake Havasu City, AZ; four grandchildren, Ariana, Marcelo, Josue and Yordan and one great grandchild, Luisa Yadira Orozco.A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 1, 2009, 4:30 PM at Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, 3200 Jamaica Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ.
