Obituary of Barbara BREDEWEG

Barbara E. Bredeweg, 77 affectionately known as Barb to her husband, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 4, 2009 in Lake Havasu City. She was born August 15, 1931 in Lindsay, California.Barbara and her husband moved to Lake Havasu City 19 years ago from Carlsbad, California. She is survived by her husband Dick, and three sons, Steve Bredeweg of Lake Havasu City, Robert Bredeweg of Oceanside California, Richard Bredeweg of Carlsbad California; Daughter-in-law Gail Bredeweg of Lake Havasu City; Grandsons, Michael, Bradley, Matthew, Eric and Tyler, and three great grandchildren, Desiray, Andrea, and Andrew of Lake Elsinore, California.Her passion was sewing, and quilting. Before she retired she taught quilting classes all over the country. She also wrote a book on how to quilt. She is a Past President of Western Welcome. She was also very active with the Presbyterian Church.As the matriarch of the family she will be missed by her family, and friends.A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 14th at the Community Presbyterian Church located at 3450 Chemehuevi, Lake Havasu City at 11:00 am.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
