Obituary of Ronald WARD

Ronald Keith Ward passed away April 1, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 80. He was born to Daniel and Mary (Autry) Ward on July 15, 1928 in Brea, CA.Ronald served in the United States Navy. He was one of Lake Havasu's original pioneers moving here 41 years ago from Corona, CA. Being a self employed contractor, Ronald helped build this town from the ground up. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and an avid golfer.Ronald leaves behind his beloved family, sons, Brit Ward and Brad Ward, both of Lake Havasu; three step-children, Julie, Pat and Matt and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Wayne, Dan and Tommy Ward and two step children, Terry and Laura.A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2009, 4:00 PM at Rotary Park in the grass bowl.
