Obituary of William POPPLER

WILLIAM JOHN POPPLER(July 24, 1939 - April 8, 2009)William (Bill) John Poppler, 69, passed away April 8, 2009 in the hospital in Lake Havasu after a long and valiant battle with diabetes and heart disease. He was surrounded by his beloved family. Bill loved hunting, fishing, camping, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. He was born in Chinook, MT to Bill and Caroline Poppler and was raised on the family farm. In 1961 he married Elaine Harwood and they continued to farm until 1972. In 1972 he sold the farm and changed careers into agricultural banking. He was very patriotic and loved his country. He was married for 47 years to his beautiful bride and together they raised 3 wonderful children. Bill is survived by his wife Elaine, their children Bill and Marcia Poppler of Galt, CA, Peggy and Terry Doke of Nampa, ID and Tony and Crystal Poppler of Holly Springs, NC; 10 grandchildren, Kimberly, Jennifer, Guy (deceased), Steven, Alex, Shane, Evalin, Bill, Katie, and John; two sisters, Maryanne Burke and Myrtle Tilleman and numerous nieces and nephews. "Love through good times and bad, laugh as often as you can, and family always." Thank you for the love and laughter.
