Obituary of Louis GILLET

Louis Michael Gillet, 89, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on February 28, 1920 in San Antonio, TX; to Louis Frank and Mary Elizabeth (Schade) Gillet.Louis moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 14 years ago from Reno, NV. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, WWII for almost 5 years and received the Legion of Merit for excelling in his field work on P-38 airplanes. After completing his years in the military, Louis went on to become a police officer for the Los Angeles Police Department for 20+ years. Later he then became a superior court bailiff for the Riverside Sheriff's Department for 10 years.Louise is survived by his wife of 63 years, Roselle Gillet; and son, Lou Gillet Jr. of Tonopah, NV.
