Elsie June Drake passed away on June 5, 2009 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 79. She was born on June 29, 1929 in Redondo Beach, CA to Charlie and Lella (Skalla) Diller.Elsie moved to Lake Havasu City 20 years ago from Riverside, CA where she worked as a cashier for the city of Riverside for 10 years.Elsie enjoyed gardening and loved to fish. She was a past member of the VFW Post 9401, Elks Lodge 2399 and Eagles Aerie 4299, all of Lake Havasu City.Elsie is survived by her daughters, Jeanne (Ron) Starick of Prescott, AZ and Patricia (Gordy) Coolman of Fallon, NV; sisters, Judith (James) Hale of Bullhead City, AZ, Twila French of Riverside, CA and Evelyn (Bill) Hoss of San Marino, CA; brother, Charlie (Wilda) Diller of Cedar City, UT: grandchildren, Julie Tomlinson of San Antonio, TX, Kim (Mike) Thompson of Orange, CA, Jim Starick of Anaheim, CA; one great granddaughter, Sarah Tomlinson and Elsie's ex-husband, Glen "Bud" Drake of Havasu Springs.Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 10:00 AM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Rev. Carol Sheffield will offer words of comfort and inspiration.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
