Obituary of Gary ELLINGSON
Please share a memory of Gary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Gary Lee Ellingson aka "White Wolf" or "Fuzzy" to friends in the Lake Havasu City area since 1977, made a peaceful transition over the rainbow into the infinite new life with God on June 8, 2009.Gary is survived by his loving sister Patsy Schlaikjer, his former wife and friend Jeanette Ellingson and their three children Stacy Ellingson , the "twins" Robert Ellingson and Rebecca Ellingson-Hahn and his three darling granddaughters Josie(8), Jackie(4) and Virginia(1).Gary served in the U. S. Air Force from 1956 - 1968 as a crew chief on B52 bombers. He graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in business. Gary then went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin achieving his Doctorate in Jurisprudence emphasizing in criminal, constitutional and personal injury law. He has been commended by his peers as one of the most gifted and wisest trial attorney's both in the Federal Superior courts and in the California Superior courts with a law career spanning from 1966 to the present. Most of all "Fuzzy" was a true patriot, a "master of his domain" as stated by his close nephew Paul Schlaikjer. He bravely confronted officials in positions of high regard who became apathetic to our countries sacred doctrine "The U.S. Constitution". He had no tolerance for any jurisdiction in the U.S.A. who cunningly and covertly set their own laws and rules with prejudice, therefore criminally violating the civil rights of hardworking innocent citizens that are the backbone of the U.S.A. economy. Gary would insist on having big minds with big thoughts and having a solid knowledge of your civil rights to preserve freedom, which is teetering towards failure as citizens continue to be tolerant and complacent of any local officials who exercises law and power that sometimes infringes on our basic rights.Gary lived a very unique life, he was one of the few men who could ruffle the feathers of the status quo without breaking the law. I'm sure you know who you are that loved to hate him and at the same time secretly honored him. Those who were lucky enough to be a friend, a trusted family member, his student or his foe will always remember their encounters with Gary Ellingson as a profound moving human experience.Dad, you will be so missed, but I know we will reunite again. However, the healing waters, canyons, wild animals and beautiful women of Lake Havasu City will long for your spirit the most. So don't forget to visit you earthly home once in awhile. Thank you for revealing the numbers (333) through you spirit.Services were held at his home town of Canton, South Dakota at the Canton Lutheran Church on July 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM.Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
