Robert B. Palmer, 87, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009, peacefully in his sleep. He was born on June 26, 1921 in Chicago, IL; to Roy and Elizabeth (Beach) Palmer.Robert and his wife Eileen retired to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1986. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. Robert was a member of the Moose Lodge, B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge, Eagles Aerie #4299 and served as an active member of his community. He also was a volunteer of the Chamber of Commerce Visitors Information Center and Vice President of the Computer Club. His hobbies included computers, wood working and photography. Robert was a loving and social man who really loved life and despite many obstacles, he lived it to the fullest. He was a wonderful father and loving husband, who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.Robert is survived by his wife of 45 years, Eileen Palmer; son, Floyd (Phyllis); daughters, Donna (Randi); and Sandra (John); grandchildren, Jennifer, Domini and John Robert, Carly and Joey. He was preceded in death by his son, Phil.A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.Thoughts and condolences can be made to his family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
