Chris and I were so sorry to hear of Bob's death. He was an important part of our lives for many years. He befriended our dear dad and they were real pals in spite of their age difference. They shared sailing adventures (something dad were never have done Bob was always gracious and interested in all of us. Please accept our condolences. Mede and Chris Anton.

I worked at Vic Haus/Mike's when Bob and Ed were part of the "snake pit" a group that sat at one end of the bar. Seems strange that they are both gone now. Perhaps they are indeed telling those stories together once again. Susan Boise, Idaho

Condolences to the Rountree family. Bob was a good friend of my dad, Ed Freeman, and I remember the respect my dad had for Bob. They worked many years together in the aviation business where that friendship began and held true to my fathers passing in 2008. I know Bob and Ed are up with the aviation gods, telling jokes, talking stories, pulling pranks and flying at will. Bob will be missed. Godspeed! Doug Freeman
