Obituary of William NELSON

William "Bill" R. Nelson, 76, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on November 27, 1932 in New York City, NY; to William and Loretta (Copeland) Nelson.Bill moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 13 years ago from Garden Grove, CA. He worked as a bill blocker for C.M.E. Trucking Company in Los Angeles, CA; for 18 years. Bill was a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge #2399 and also the Elks Lodge in Garden Grove, CA. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Turpin; sons, Michael Nelson, Greg Green; eight grandchildren, l great grandchild + one on the way, due January 23, 2010. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 19 years, Katherine Nelson and second wife of 33 years, Julie Ann Nelson.Funeral Services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Words of wisdom and inspiration will be expressed by Rev. Richard Rounds.
