Obituary of Adam FRENCH

Adam Matthew French was born in Reno, NV on January 10, 1988 to Stacy McLaughlin and Shawn French. He passed away in Lake Havasu City at his great grandmother, Yvonne Adie's house on August 2, 2009. Adam was a great kid who had made a few mistakes and was taking responsibility for them. He felt that if he joined the military he would be able to turn things around.Adam was known to his family as Adman or Atom-Ant and his favorite color was orange (we can't figure that one out). Adam was the light in our lives, always ready with a sweet smile and a goofy grin. He was an adventurer and we all loved his spirit.Adam is survived by his loving mother Stacy Pope and Mike Gariess; his father, Shawn French and his wife Kathy; sisters, Mercedes Hiott, Nicolette Hiott, Megan Toscano and her husband Gabriel, Nikki Godard, Lacey Lander and Sarah Hunter; brothers, PFC. B. Garrett Warren who is stationed in Iraq and Chase Warren. Also surviving are his grandparents Cal and Linda McGovern and Evan and Sharon Thompson; great grandmother, Yvonne Adie; aunt Tami Cotton and her husband Josh; uncle, Jared Gloistein and his wife Kayle; uncle Brandon French and his wife Shantil; uncle Matt French and his wife Michelle; uncle Scott Adie and his wife Judy and uncle Jim Adie as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, most notably were JD and Brooke Adie and Jessica Hurlbut and her fiancé Max Hodge, all of whom helped him along his path.Adam will be greatly missed and we ask that everyone who knew and cared for Adam to come to the memorial at Solid Rock Christian Center, 2011 Swanson Ave. at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2009. Parking is available in the rear. There will be a potluck afterward and if you wish to bring something please do. You are invited to share any memories that you may have. In lieu of flowers, an account in Adam's memory has been established at Horizon Community Bank, #0110023504, to help defray the unexpected expenses. Any money remaining will be donated to the D.A.R.E.
