Obituary of Edith De

Edith L. DeFoe passed away August 6, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 70. She was born to George and Ethel (Neibuhr) Whinnery on April 14, 1939 in Troy, NY.On January 31, 1959, Edith married her best friend Calvin DeFoe and together they made Lake Havasu their home 36 years ago from Albany, NY. She worked for the Nautical Inn as a bookkeeper for several years. Edith was always a hard worker and very fun loving and up-beat.Edith leaves behind her four daughters, Dawn, Kim, Stacey and Bambi; brothers, Jim, Tom and Leroy; sisters, Pam, Sharon and Joan; grandchildren, Cody, Jeff, Angel, Stino, Celia, Juana, Ashlee, Alex, Christopher, Breanna, Lindsay and Jose and four great grandchildren, Trinity, Megan, Joel and Gabriel. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.She is once again reunited with her true love, Calvin who passed away January 29, 2008.Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 13, 2009, 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Rev.
