Richard L. Rumage died on Monday, August 17, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Herbert and Gladys (Likens) Rumage on August 22, 1927 in Detroit, MI.A native of Detroit, MI, Mr. Rumage moved to California in 1947 and retired to Lake Havasu City in 1990. He was active locally until his retirement from public affairs in 1996. Thereafter, he devoted his time to genealogy. He was a member of the Lake Havasu Genealogical Society.His wife Alice Gertrude Brodrick Rumage; daughter Deborah Ann and son David Marion predeceased him. He is survived by nieces, Penny Rumage Blaney of Arkansas, Bambi Rumage Wallace, Paula Rumage Lonsberry and nephew Paul Rumage, all of Michigan.Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Pomona, CA.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
