Obituary of Enrique PEREZ

Enrique Munguia Perez passed away on August 25, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 83. He was born on June 22, 1926 in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico to Luis and Maria (Munguia) Perez.Enrique had ten children and throughout his life, he worked extremely hard to provide for his children. He brought his family to the states in 1965 for them to have a better life. He had a love for cars and took good care of them. Enrique was a very simple man, was very honest and loved life. He was a loving father, grandfather and took care of his sister Adelina for the past 20 years.Enrique worked as a custodian for the Palos Verdes Presbyterian Church in Palos Verdes, CA for 20 years. He moved to Tucson 23 years ago from Venice, CA to help care for his sister Adelina. His family moved him from Tucson to Lake Havasu City five months ago. Enrique is survived by his son, Enrique Checa Perez of Lake Havasu City; daughters Nydia Toombs of Lake Havasu City, Lucia Sanchez of Culver City, CA, Ana Gloria Armendariz of North Hills, CA and Sylvia Chappue of North Carolina; brothers Ernesto Perez of Tucson, AZ and Luis Perez of Ajo, AZ; sisters, Amanda and Ernestina, both of Tucson and twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.Graveside service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2009, 2:00 PM at Eastlawn Palm Cemetery in Tucson, AZ.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
