W.S. Lowe Jr. W.S. Lowe Jr. passed away on January 22, 2014 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 91. He was born on September 11, 1922 in Devol, OK to Wiley and Ocie (Dixon) Lowe. W.S. was a retired Major a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and moved to Lake Havasu 10 years ago. He loved flying most of all and also enjoyed boating, fishing, scuba diving and other water sports. He liked visiting the local casinos and playing the lotto. He also was an avid football and baseball fan. The Arizona Diamond Backs and Arizona Cardinals were his favorite. W.S. was very involved with his family and is survived by sons Wally Lowe of Lake Havasu City and Ronnie Lowe of Anaheim, CA; daughters Vickie Haas of Lake Havasu City, Melody Clark of Canyon Lake, CA, Terry Minton of Temecula, CA and Cindy Schleig of San Jacinto, CA; sisters Jackie Herring of Bakersfield, CA and Jean DeGenerio of Riverside, CA; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Norma Maxine Lowe. Visitation will be held on Sunday January 26, 2014 at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel from 4 - 6 PM. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery on January 29, 2014 at 11:30 AM.
