Vivian (Maroni) McAnulty passed away September 6, 2009 at Lake Hills Inn, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where she was a resident. She was 87 years old. Vivian was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on December 29, 1921 to Ubaldo and Filomena Maroni, immigrants of Italy.Vivian and husband Harold "Mac" moved from Pennsylvania to Southern California in l957with their chi1dren Pau1a and James. She lived in El Monte and G1en Avon, California after Harold's death in 1975 and then on to Lake Havasu in 1995. She worked as a welder during the Second World War and in school cafeterias. She loved to cook and spent many hours in the kitchen at Glen Avon Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church, Lake Havasu.She is survived by her children Paula Nicklas of Lake Havasu, AZ and James of Coeur d'Alene, ID; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and one Brother, Stanley Maroni of Tarentum, Pennsylvania.Graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cypress, CA September 16th at 11:00 am.The family would like to thank the Staff of Lake Hills Inn for the loving care she received while she resided there.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
