Obituary of Bradley BENDIXEN

Please share a memory of Bradley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bradley Joseph Bendixen was born in San Diego, CA on December 5, 1989 and entered into Heaven's gates on September 13, 2009.He loved listening to and playing music and was also an avid "gamer." Halo-3 was one of his favorite games as the tattoo on his wrist displayed. Having slipped that one past mom he decided that he would like to have a whole sleeve of tattoes in the future. Bradley played the keyboard and was a member of a local band called Gallows Grace. He also enjoyed playing Yu-gi-oh! at the local Knights of Columbus Hall on Thursday nights. You could often see Bradley riding in the Van that his family dubbed "The Coach" until recently when he hitched rides with alot of his friends and his wheelchair could be seen hanging out the back of their vehicles. Or, if it was his turn to drive, you could see a friend holding on for dear life from the back end of his power chair. Bradley loved the Lord and made memories with everyone; from his church pals to all who crossed his path. We will carry his memory in our hearts forever. He was tired, and ready for The Lord to embrace him. He was everything I could have ever hoped for in a son and he enjoyed all he could out of life. There are no words that can sufficiently describe the tremendous sorrow that we feel right now but I know that with each passing day and with the hope and trust that we have in Jesus there will be better days to come.We all prayed for a miracle and the Lord heard our prayers. He came and swept him up so swiftly and quickly. Now is healed. I know that we have made it to this point only because of the genuine love and support of those around us who have prayed so diligently for Bradley and our family. This and the grace and spirit of our Lord in heaven have given us the strength to go on. What more could we ask for?Bradley is survived by his parents, Donald and Rita Bendixen and sister, Sarah Bendixen of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and sister Melissa Rupp of San Diego, CA, grandparents, Donald and Dorothy Bendixen of Lake Havasu City, AZ; and Rafael Mora of San Diego, CA.A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. With Pastor Ray Carter, presiding.Condolences and thoughts can be made to his family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
