Obituary of Helen GALLAGHER

Helen Gertrude Gallagher, 84, passed away September 14th in her home in Lake Havasu City. Born on November 6, 1924 in Saugus, MA; she survived polio at a young age and spent the rest of her life dancing.In 1952 Helen moved with her family to CA where she raised her children and had a lengthy career with aerospace. She was preceded in death by her husband (1978), Francis Emmett Gallagher and later retired to Lake Havasu City.Known for her huge, beautiful, blue eyes and radiant smile; Helen was passionate about travel and was recognized for her volunteerism with multiple senior programs in the community. She is survived by her two daughters Kathleen Gallagher Nicholas, and Karin Mary Gallagher, as well as her four grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews who live in all parts of the country.A celebration of her life will be shared by friends and family at the Lady of the Lake, Catholic Church in Lake Havasu City on the day of her birth ~ November 6th, beginning at 10:30 am.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
