Dorothy Hobart Root "Baba", 100 years young passed on September 29, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born in Iowa and moved to California in 1960 making her final home in Lake Havasu City since 1980. Baba enjoyed her summers driving along the back roads, making her way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and British Columbia to visit friends. Baba loved her early morning desert walks, collecting antiques and her dogs. She is survived by her daughter Nancy R. McCulloch; grandchildren Kerry E. Roach, Brian R. Kirke and his wife Cindi and great grandchildren Jeffrey W. Roach, Jackson R. Kirke and Raquel Mercado-Kirke.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
