Linda Darlene "King" Herrell, who was known as "King" to all her friends, passed away at the very young age of 68,on October 29, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on November 5, 1940 in Whittier, CA; to Dessa and Carrie (Nobel) King.Linda grew up and attended school in Fullerton, CA. She resided in Orange County before moving to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 7 years ago from Riverside, CA. She left her family way too young. Linda led a full life, but she wanted to keep living as she loved life. She enjoyed shopping at online, at QVC and HSN, and ordered most of her clothes off the TV channels. Linda knew good clothes and loved her Birkenstocks, owning over 60 pairs. She was known for her bright red hair and matching red lipstick. Linda had a very hardy contagious laugh. She had her own way of telling stories and you couldn't help but laugh. She helped out everyone she could and would feed anyone that stopped by. Linda watched her grandkids and watched them all grow up and become adults. Her youngest granddaughter was her caretaker up until the last day, and she loved that. When family was around Linda was complete. She was very loving.Holidays were her favorites. On Thanksgiving there was always a houseful of family and friends. Food was everywhere. At Christmas time she had everything decorated in her home. Linda put so much love into her decorating and her handmade gifts. When Linda's husband passed away, she took care of her mother-in-law until she passed away, a year and 7 months later. Linda was a great woman and will be missed by all that had the privilege to know her. She is up in Heaven with her husband, Mom and Dad, brother, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and all her friends that also left this world too soon.Linda is survived by her son, Robert Lawton Herrell (Teresa); daughter, Linda Ann Herrell (Gilbert); sisters, Joy King-Bramhall and her niece Cheryl King-Arroyo who was raised like her sister; grandchildren, Daniel Herrell (Sabrina), Dustin Herrell, Desarae' "Herrell" Cabrinha (Chris), Robert L.
