Obituary of George EMERY

George Clement Emery, 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on July 8, 1921 in Chicago, IL; to George and Amanda (Hillmann) Emery.George moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 22 years ago from Spooner, WI; and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a shift manager for Commonwealth Edison in Chicago, IL; for 25 years. George was very good in investing and was able to retire at the age of 49. He enjoyed golfing and reading.He is survived by his sons, John Anderson of Carson City, NV; James Anderson of Woodbury, MN; daughters, Susan Anderson of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Karen Hansen of Boston, MA; and granddaughter, Stephanie. George was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob Emery.A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Words of wisdom and inspiration will be expressed by Pastor Lan Blair. Military Honors will be presented by the V.F.W.
