Elizabeth D. Soden passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ; at the age of 94. She was born on July 22, 1915 in Council Bluffs, IA: to Leroy and Bernice (Hamblin) Cook.Elizabeth became a resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ; 17 years ago, moving from Sonora, CA. She is survived by her sons; Julian Girard of Lake Havasu City, AZ; David Girard of Fresno, CA; brother, Leroy Cook of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Frances Beighley of Colorado Springs, CO; and 14 grandchildren.Elizabeth will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Alvarez, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Covina, CA; on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.Condolences and thoughts can be made to her family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
