Obituary of Betty BUCHANAN

Betty Lou Buchanan passed away November 21, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 69. She was born to Frank and Iva (Fenn) Osborne, the youngest of seven children, on August 30, 1940 in North Plains Township, MI.Betty married William Lee Buchanan on September 26, 1987and together they made Lake Havasu their home 16 years ago from El Paso, TX. She owned and operated Havasu Mail & Package Center in Lake Havasu for 16 years. Betty was a devoted Catholic, and the past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Texas.Betty will be dearly missed by her beloved family, her husband of 22 years, William Buchanan of Lake Havasu; two daughters, Linda Louise Bua and Cindy Ann Kimmons, as well as her four grandchildren, Ryan and Danayella Bua and Taryn Lawson and Andrew Kimmons and one great grandchild.She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, four brothers and one son.A scripture service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 2:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel.
