Obituary of Peggy MELIZA

Peggy Leone Meliza passed away November 28, 2009 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 87. She was born to Porter and Elsie (Hepperley) Blue on November 10, 1922 in Chenoa, IL.Peggy married her best friend on October 13, 1941 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 33 years ago from Peoria, IL. She worked in Illinois and Arizona as a self employed seamstress for 30 years. Peggy was a member of the VFW since 1942.Peggy leaves behind her beloved family, son, Kenneth Meliza of Makanda, IL; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; son, John Meliza and sister, Durella Young.A memorial service will take place on Thursday, December 3, 2009, 2:00 PM at the VFW Post 9401.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
