Obituary of Suzanne LAIRD

Suzanne Kaye Laird passed away on Monday December 14, 2009 at the age of 62 with her mother, Annabelle, fiance, Bill and nephew and niece, Bill and Audra at her side. She was born on August 12, 1947 in Bethalto, IL to Roy and Annabelle (Balster) Crews. In 1951, at the age of 3, Sue and her family moved to Phoenix, AZ.She attended North High School in Phoenix and graduated in 1965. In 1974 Sue married Jerry Laird. They resided in Cathedral City, CA where Sue worked as a medical secretary. Sue and Jerry left Cathedral City in 1981 and made Lake Havasu City their home.Sue is survived by her mother Annabelle Crews; fiance, Bill Mitchell; sister Janet Harlan; three stepdaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Jerry, her sister Anita and one step-daughter.A celebration of Sue's life will be held at the Laird residence, 2936 Jamaica Blvd. S. on Saturday, January 2nd from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
