Catherine Rita Ferrari passed away January 20, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 88. She was born to Domenic and Minnie (Reano) Ruffatti on December 7, 1921 in Felix Township, IL.Catherine married her best friend, Carl Ferrari on April 21, 1956 and together they made Lake Havasu their home 45 years ago from Braidwood, IL. She was a school teacher for the Lake Havasu City School District for several years. Catherine leaves behind her son, James Ferrari of La Mesa, CA; brothers, Peter and Raymond Ruffati; sister Irene Tanner and her husband Perry. She was recently preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Carl James Ferrari who passed away January 5, 2010.Donations may be made in Catherine's name to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.comArrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
