Roland "Pete" William Ochsner, 77, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 20l0 at his home in Lake Havasu City, AZ; with his family at his side. He was born on October 31, 1932 in Chicago, IL; to Roland and Alice (Todd) Ochsner.Pete moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 18 years ago from Huntington Beach, CA. He worked as a process engineer for Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, CA; for 35 years. Pete proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, Korean War. He was a member of the B.P.O.Elks Lodge #2399, Eagles Aerie #4299, and American Legion Post #81. Pete enjoyed boating, fishing, dancing, snow skiing, biking and traveling. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Olive Kay Ochsner; sons, Roland William Ochsner Jr. (Skip) of Oceanside, CA; Steve Ochsner of Seattle, WA; Michael Ochsner of Long Beach, CA; Jeff Ochsner Huntington Beach, CA; brother, Robert Ochsner of Norman, OK; sisters, Betty Jordan of Durham, NC; Karen Zievel of Phoenix, AZ; and 6 grandchildren.A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1100 a.m. Words of comfort and inspiration will be expressed by Father Chauncey WinklerMilitary honors will be presented by the V.F.W. Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pete's name to Anglers United, P.O.
