James H. CarterSeptember 24, 1937January 25, 2010Jim Carter passed away peacefully on the morning of January 25, 2010. He was born September 24, 1937 to Fannie and Ray Carter in Racine, Wisconsin.For the majority of his life he lived, worked and raised a wonderful family with his wife Jean in East Troy, Wisconsin. He made a positive impact on many lives through his 32 years as a middle school music teacher and his numerous activities in the community. He was active on the community's planning commission, the volunteer ambulance as well as many school functions.He is survived by his wife Jean, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Melody Carter, daughter and son-in-law Amy Carter and Bob Streeter, son and daughter-in-law Gerry and Becky Carter and son and daughter-in-law Tim and Emily Carter. His six grandchildren Sianna, Will, Abe, Felix, Beau and Dylan, will especially miss him.A small remembrance was held on January 28, 2010 where many kind words and laughs were shared.
