Obituary of Cornelius HAMILTON

Neil P. Hamilton was born on February 10, 1933 to Joseph J. Hamilton and Catherine (O'Connor) Hamilton of Schenectady, NY. He passed away on February 5, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ; after living here for 36 years.Neil was employed by McCulloch Corporation in quality control for 23 years. He retired in 1996 before moving from Albany, NY; where he was self employed in the dry cleaning business.Neil was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church and the New Yorkers of Havasu. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends, attending New York Club meetings and Tuesday morning breakfast at IHOP. Neil and his wife were frequent visitors of McDonalds and will be missed by friends and staff.Neil is survived by his wife June, of 55 years; daughter, Donna Hamilton of Riverside, CA; sons, Kevin Hamilton, Timothy Hamilton and wife Kelli all of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sister, Patricia Gray and husband Dean of Albany, NY; brother, Michael Hamilton and wife Barbara of Albany, NY; grandchildren, Candice and husband Alex Thayer, Corey and wife Sarah Berger, Angel Defoe, Kaitlin and Erin Hamilton; great grandchildren, Britney and Bailee Berger and Trinity and Megan Defoe. He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph J Hamilton and Catherine (O'Connor) Hamilton and his three brothers, John, Joseph and Gerald Hamilton all of Schenectady, NY. A Rosary and Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow at Holy Family Parish Hall.
