Obituary of Lucille HOLDERMAN

Lucille Marquardt Holderman passed away February 6, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 86. She was born on December 7, 1923 in Meeker County, MN.She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Holderman in 1992; parents, Edward and Hulda Marquardt and sister, June Dollerschell.Lucille is survived by daughters Carolyn Conser of Modesto CA and Donna Spillane; son-in-law John, of Coarsegold CA; grandsons Scott Conser and Cody Spillane; brother Roy Marquardt of Utah and numerous nieces and nephews.Lucille was raised in Litchfield MN. She lived most of her adult life in Modesto CA before she & Ray moved to Bouse, AZ in 1991. During WWII she worked for Douglas Aircraft & became a "California girl" who had no desire to move back to the winters of Minnesota.Lucille enjoyed gardening, crochet & embroidery; she was an accomplished seamstress and a quick thinking player of canasta, pinochle and board games. She had a wicked little sense of humor, twinkling blue eyes and a quick, shy smile.No local services will be held.
