Obituary of Raffaella LUEBBING

Raffaella "Dolly" Luebbing passed away on February 8, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on February 9, 1921 in Chicago, IL; to Phillip and Filomena (Bosco) Lomoro. Dolly moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 33 years go from Hanover Park, IL. She married Clarence "Babe" Luebbing on January 3, 1942, moving to Wisconsin, when Clarence got out of the service. They lived in Three Lakes, WI; and raised four children.Dolly was a past Sr. Regent of the Moose Lodge #1608, lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 9401 and a member of the American Legion Post 81. She worked over 25 years as a volunteer at the Senior Center and the soup kitchen at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Dolly also worked with the police department to help senior citizens and enjoyed going to jazzercise.Dolly is survived by her children; Phillip, Sandra, Michael (Peg), and Lori Watts (Dennis); five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence on September 15, 1992.A Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that donations be made to the V.F.W.
