Peggy Lou Deaton passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, AZ;at the age of 77. She was born on July 13, 1932 in Goldsby, OK; to Roy and Clara(McGee) Herrin.Peggy and her husband Odes, moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 17 years ago fromBurbank, CA; where she worked as a telephone operator for Warner Bros. Studios.While at Warner Bros., Peggy had the opportunity to meet many stars and celebrities andcollected photos of the many she met. She retired from Warner Bros. after 32 years ofservice. One of Peggy's greatest pleasures was being a devoted grandmother and greatgrandmother to her grandchildren.Peggy is survived by her son; Gary Deaton and his wife Jan of Northridge, CA; sisters,Kitty Gay Tindle and Pat Ann Causey, both of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandchildren;Robin, Amy, Chris and Jacob; and her great grandchildren,Julia, Angela and Jacob. Shewas preceded in death by her parents; Roy and Clara, husband, Odes Jay Deaton and herdaughter, Pamela Sue Woods.Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Monday, February 15, 2010 from 6:00 to8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens onTuesday, February 16, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Carol Sheffield will offer words of comfort andinspiration.In lieu of flowers, donations in Peggy's name can be made to the John Wayne CancerFoundation, P.O.
