Dorothy Joan Liljedahl, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at her home in Lake Havasu City, AZ; with her daughter by her side. She was born on October 29, 1922 in St. Paul, MN; to Carl and Florence (Augnier) Ritchie.Dorothy moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 6 months ago from Canby, MN. She worked as a candy maker for Pearson Candy Co. Dorothy enjoyed watching TV, playing cards, gambling at the casinos and traveling. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dorothy is survived by her daughter; Flo Lusk of Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandchildren, John Lusk Jr; Dottie Stewart; great grandchildren, Amanda Lusk, Delaney Stewart; nephew, Mike Ritchie and nieces; Joann Hansen, Barbara Noyes, Sharon Cavanagh and Carol Schulz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Liljedahl; brother, William Ritchie; grandson, David Lusk and son-in-law, John Lusk Sr.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dorothy's name to New Hope Hospice, 500 N.
