Betty Louise Ingram passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at her home, following her battle with esophageal cancer. She was born on January 2, 1933 in Astoria, OR; to Glenn and Mary Jane (Waterhouse) Stilwell.Betty attended school in Astoria, and Norwest Business School in Portland, OR. She worked in banks in Astoria OR: Olympia, WA: and Corvallis, OR; while her husband Bob was in the U.S. Army and while he attended college following his military service. They moved to Wisconsin, then to Connecticut, back to Wisconsin, and returned to Connecticut again, before settling in Washington.In 1991, following Bob's retirement, they moved to Alsea in western Oregon and lived on the Alsea River. In 1994 Betty and Bob began visiting the Colorado River for a portion of the winters and in 2002, they sold their Alsea property and became full time RV'ers. For the next 5 years, they spent their winters at Castle Rock Shores and their summers in Oregon. In 2007, they bought into Verde West and have been full time residents since. Betty enjoyed quilting, crocheting and gardening in her later years and had been a full time Mom, raising four boys.Betty is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bob; sons, Bruce Ingram of Terryville, CT; Brent Ingram of Florence, CO; Brad Ingram of Vancouver, WA; Brian Ingram of Thornton, CO; sister, Sally Krahmer of Cornelius, OR; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Mary Jane Stilwell and sister, Lois Wilcox.In lieu of flower, donations can be made in Betty's name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
