NORA DEWALD HAYNora DeWald Hay, 90, passed away on February 19, 2010 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born on December 28, 1919 in Ottawa, Kansas to Wayne and Fannie (Funk) DeWald.Nora moved to Lake Havasu City from Platte City, Missouri 24 years ago. She was a retired beautician and worked at Don's Auto Body with her son Don for 7 years. Nora was Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Platte City, Missouri four times. She volunteered for 12 years at the Senior Center which she was very dedicated to. She drove the Meals on Wheels van for 5 years until she lost her eyesight, she then worked as a kitchen aid for 10 years at the Senior Center.Nora is survived by her loving family; sons Don E. Underwood of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Layton E. Underwood Jr. of Val Rico, FL; daughter Linda C. Hay of Kansas City, MO; sister Anne Hanson of Ottawa, KS; 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jessie Lynn Hay.In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Nora's name to the Senior Center, 450 S.
